Concerning the dirty chips. I once was going to make a raise and I picked up a single higher denomination chip and said, “Raise.” Two other chips were stuck to the bottom of that dirty chip, fell off, and rolled into the pot. I instantly said, “I didn’t bet that amount!” The floor was called and, luckily, other players supported me. A dealer in Washington state once shared some research where exceptionally dirty chip chip were tested and it showed that they were rich in fecal matter. Yuck! From then on, well before covid, hand sanitizer accompanied me to the poker table.
